Everyone has had a period in their lives where they have felt like the odd , no body, rejected by the crowd. Nothing will change if we do not change ourselves and those who are round us.
You have something no one here on the planet has and that is why you are here. We are at a time when there are more people on the planet than ever before yet most people are all copying each other in negative pathways without questioning.
Allot of people are hiding they are hiding their ease of greatness by stifling, their truest heart’s desire because they are waiting for someone else to tell them it is okay or to do it first, or for some massive collective to come together to tell them where to start.
When you look at the narrative of every person who has ever changed or influenced the course of history, they have been a different sort of person than the planet had ever seen before.
You feel like the black sheep, like you are strange or bizarre. There is a loneliness that sets deep within you sometimes to where you can feel it to the core of your being. This feeling of loneliness and isolation is an indicator. Everything in the universe works like a pendulum, hence the in and out breath, the structure of DNA, the turning of our planet and even molecular particle waves.
When you feel this type of sadness or loneliness, it is an inherent need for all of us on the planet to feel loved and like, imagine the one cell will never evolved to complete organs alone , the cell need others and more to be unique and then go farther to be more specialized cell or organ.
We live in a world that says you will be guaranteed to be loved and accepted if you buy into this cookie cutter mentality, it is a tradition that all of us can relate to, going all the back to when we were collectively in tribes. Material possessions are valuable because they represent being loved; they represent a culture of being accepted and therefore success.
Jesus was helping, sitting and eating with the poor, the hungry , the ill and diseased stricken and he knows that those who were labeled as unfit for society in fact are the core of our society, they run out of luck and they been manipulated and then shunned by the community of been lazy after they worked so hard to make the master who own them to be rich .
Some of those poor went and revolt some went to look for new life and some stay in the same place and driving to drugs and allowed other to use them to survive. Many people in our country look at those who are collecting welfare as lazy people, evil people, do not contribute to society, and lower class!
They forget that 50% of the time those people need psychological help, mental help, they run out of options, and others run out of luck and jobs , run out of low rent places and descent jobs , Some are overwhelmed with their situation after their husband left them with few kids and the stories goes on and on each has a unique story and a reason.
Sure there are some who love to milk the system and lazy but that is only a fraction of the number. Do you point a finger, or help and guide them to the source that they can get help? Do you avoid them like the tax collectors the pharisees or you sit with them , listen to them and guide them as Jesus did ?
There is so much joy we can find in locating those who are hungry around us . Many are not hungry for food , but are hungry for acceptance and fit in, hungry for knowledge and skills so they can work, hungry for an opportunist and stick of luck, hungry for kindness and respect , hungry for others to treat them as a human been , hunger to be out of loneliness and vicious cycle. They are not hungry for hand out but for hand shake and a hug , for hand to touch their soul and believe me when you touch someone soul it will be the greatest moment in your life. The last year I was watching a homeless man and his wife from my balcony window for 3 days they were sitting from 7 am to 5 pm behind the gas station store.
I thought let me go and talk to them because by now I noticed that it is not 2 people sitting in the road. When I went down to the store and walked behind the store I greet them and started to talk to them. I felt the happiness in their eyes. Nobody talked to us for days, the husband said. I went and bought them some food, soup and gave them a gift card to buy food from the store. They almost cried and they took the food with their hands shaking. I told them not to worry as I was in their situation once. God bless you, they said and they meant it , I could feel their words deep in my heart . I asked them about their clothes size and shoes size.
I drove to nearby Wal-Mart store and bought male and female boots, jackets for each and male winter shirt and winter socks. When I came back and gave them the clothes they hugged me and his wife cried so much on my shoulder .they husband cried and shook my hand and thanked me so much , it is too much , he said.
When i went back to my place and looked at them from the balcony , I saw them opening the clothes bags and wear the jackets as it was cold in December. and then they hugged each other , I felt their hug deep inside my soul and tears drooped from my eyes and looked up in the sky to talked to God who is watching every second of this like a video.Thank you for creating mercy, kindness ,love and hope in our heart s ,I whispered to him . I lost my job, he said. The man was a carpenter and he couldn’t pay the rent his wife was pregnant and they have no money to pay the rent so they went out on the street.
They checked in the homeless shelter, but they have to leave before 7 am as the shelter close down until 7 pm and they can go and sleep after 7 pm.
I gave them a one month bus fair ticket so the husband can look for job in the morning and a large bag of groceries. They Calgary town shelter allowed the wife to stay in as the place was full and the husband later got a job. and they managed to get in low income housing.
Be a Jesus to someone, go this week end and visit the food bank in your area. If you don’t have t give it is OK , they don’t need your money or food but they might need your time ask them you have few hours to volunteer , they have so many things that you can do even 2 hours week.
Visit your town shelter and do the same thing , some of those shelters need translators you can speak Spanish, Arabic, Tagalog or other languages you can volunteer your skill . Many of those poor people now they can be great worker, resourceful and they need to know how and the skills, you can show them power point , hands on skill, give them ideas to be self sufficient , how and where to look for a job. By doing so you are allowing them to fit in again and be part of the community. Donate your unwanted good clothes, dont toss them in the garbage.
Nothing will change if we do not change ourselves and those who are round us. Be an angel, a snow angel as the TV add say. I think we have to be an everyday angel with act of kindness, touching others with a smile, good deed, good gesture, good attitude, and start with your neighbors , as it is so a shame that many of us do not interact with the surrounding , the excuse always I have no time . We run like a horse , work like an Ox and sweat like a dog, and in the End we go to bed and think what is wrong with the society? Why everybody doesn’t fit in? Why there is no change in our society .We forget that the master key to change is in our heart.
Your hugs can milt a snow man, dont underestimate the power of your kindness.I was poor and hungry in the past and I know how it felt. please visit my new blog for more stories ; www.moleopedia.com
