A friend of mine who lost his job and then his wife and of course his house. He was going throw difficult time in life and tried his best to downsize, find any job to pay his bills while applying for his dream jobs, we all stood by him and helped him out as much as we could and he never gave up on God and his faith.
I asked him how can he be so strong despite all what happened t him, he told me that God never gave up on him and it is all part of a big test of his faith.
“The Spirit of truth . . . will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). Sometimes the Holy Spirit will either agitate our conscience if we’re making a wrong decision, or He will pacify and encourage us when we’re leaning toward the right decision. Even if He doesn’t intervene in such noticeable ways, we can have confidence that He’s always in charge. Sometimes God will alter a situation without us even realizing He has acted. “
that The Lord will guide you always” (Isaiah 58:11).
A long time ago I went stray after I was following God order in my faith, I had a dream.I saw myself running as the sky turned black with heavy clouds and thunder strikes from heaven to earth and it seems to follow me, I was running and voice from the sky was saying, why are you running from me, there is no way to run but toward me. I can’t still hear the voice vividly until this day. Then two angels descended from the sky and hold my arms one in each side and told me to move forward.I was screaming and asking them to leave me alone, I was scared.
The angels told me that God wants to talk to you they pulled me toward a large white cloud, I heard the voice of God telling me in a nice tone; why you went astray, why you don’t want to pray, why are you running away from me.
I told him Please don’t punish me, I will come back, then the angels let my arms go and I ran away and kept running until I saw a large house with a golden gate. I managed to climb the gate and hide in the garden of that house.The house in a dream might represent a refuge, a place of security and belong but there is no refuge only in God present, that I knew later.
While I was hiding in that house, I saw a tree with golden apples, I thought I should take one of the golden apples to help me with my journey. When I woke up from my dream and remembered what God said to me. I went and started to pray, and asked God to forgive me and help me to be strong.
I always remember that golden apple, the temptation of life and gliders. God does use our dreams to talk to us, and psychologist call that'”our unconscious” mind that speaks to us due to our inner guilt or need.
But to me, he is real and true. The rest of my journey in this life after that dream was and still amazing. I made so many mistakes, but I kneel and repent and ask for his forgiveness, I learn from my mistakes and keep going forward toward the golden gate, Thinking that one day it will house all those who are in tune with him.
If God is calling you to take a leap of faith, be encouraged by his presence.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).
And remember, “Cast all your anxiety on him because He cares for you”
(1 Peter 5:7). “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
What we are not to do is expect to hear voices from God. There is a dangerous trend today where people seek to hear a “word from the Lord,” extraneous to what He has already given us in the holy books.
You are most active during your sleep: you can visit or get visited by other beings, you can travel to other planets, dimensions, but most importantly you get new information and lessons to help you with your next day.
Now our spirits are always interacting with one another (awake or sleeping). What you might be referring to is your astral body which is the one that can leave the body during sleep hours. If you have had such an experience I would recommend not to give it too much importance, but instead to take this as proof that you are much more than you seem and begin to take better care of your soul and energy body.
The majority of the faithful believe that we have a separate soul that lives on after the body has died. Now there is one big problem with this thought. It makes us immortal. But in the end, God will take the soul out of its order and everything in the universe including the angels and all his creations will die.
Part of the confusion about death and what happens when we die is down to two words in the holy books, and that is misinterpreted. Those two words are ‘Soul’ and ‘Spirit’. Now if we take a look at the original Hebrew and Greek meaning of these words, we can start to better understand what the holy books.
Soul in Hebrew is the word ‘nephesh’, which means “a living being” (Strong’s 5315) In Arabic is called ROOH.
Soul in Greek is the word ‘psyche’, which means “a living being” (Strong’s 5590)
Spirit in Hebrew is the word ‘ruwach’, which means “breath, wind, air” (Strong’s 7307), InArabic = Rooh. So in Arabia the Soul = Spiriti= Rooh but it different than nafes, this mix-up lead to so many confusion regarding the soul that’s why God mentioned in the Quran that the Soul – Rooh – Spirit is only alive and send by God order by him alone. Spirit in Greek is the word ‘pneuma’, which can either mean “Holy Spirit” or “breath, wind, air” (Strong’s 4151)
So we can see from this that the words soul and spirit do not mean that we have our OWN spirit or soul, but rather we basically have the spirit of God in us keeping us alive, and with that spirit in us, we ARE LIVING SOULS. And we can see this clearly from the creation account … Genesis 2:7 …’And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.’
