their Bibles. But because they do not take seriously what they read, or what they hear, they are malnourished. They think that because they do the activity, they will be healthy.
Without roots, a plant struggles to obtain moisture. Similarly, without God’s Spirit guiding or working within a person—he will spiritually wither!
They wonder why they keep falling so easily into sin and bad habits. They go through the spiritual activities but they don’t have any spiritual LIFE bursting in their heart.
One great way to get this spiritual nutrition is to fast. The idea is that you do not eat physically, but you do eat spiritually. In fact, you pig-out on God! A fast is really a feast!
Jesus said in Matthew 6:16, “When you fast….” Not if you fast. In other words He expects us to fast. It is a time of getting away from everything and everyone to get tight with God and let Him give you nutrients to live on.
Self-control is the exact opposite of this world, which is “out of control” on all fronts. We grow in this fruit of the Spirit by seeking the things of the soon-coming kingdom of God (Col. 3:2).
BE STEADFAST don’t allow negativity control your life and make you a shallow person, think and act positive with deep trust that God is in control you will live better without regret .
Don’t let your problems and limitations become your identity. Don’t let the temporarily negative events in your life be your life and don’t allow them to scar your permanent life Seek God face and God glory before you seek his hand for money and things. God knows what you want and when you want them, he is waiting for you to seek him in faith, seeks his mercy and glory seek his face and all the worries will be a minor issues.
When you have a good roots you will have great fruits in your faith and life.
