ufo details report: On Aug 11, 2014 @ 2110 I was brushing my teeth getting ready for bed. I walked to my open bedroom window to look outside. It wasn’t quite dusk. It was a hot sunny day, some clouds and humidity were just rolling in. An almost full moon was rising out of my sight. It was a bright evening. I was looking east* when I noticed what I thought was a plane ascending. There is a small airport in that direction so it made sense.I saw a red and a green light. This too meant plane. Except the object was completely stationary and the lights were moving. The red and green light came both to the side of the object I could see. They were brilliantly bright.The object looked like a short soup can. After it turned (no dips) the object moved vertically towards the ground. Picture a spider dropping on it’s web.It hovered for a few seconds.The object then began to move horizontally north and back south. I was loosing sight of it behind a neighbour’s tree now. It was very low in the sky. And incredibly bright. I felt there is no way no one else could not see this. I also was beyond scared. This was real. I went around closing every window and blind. Texted my husband to come home from the neighbours. I peeked out the window again and there it was, to the left of the tree. My husband came home quick. I asked him to look outside and he saw nothing. I was awake all night scared that it would return.

UFO details report: It was going to rain so I was outside approx 9:30pm to put tarp on tent and roof on tracker and I started feeling symptoms of a migraine nausea and headache so i went inside to lay down with ice pack on couch. It had not started to rain but the clouds had come in.I turned lights down and lay down on my couch with ice pack for approx 45mins. I noticed out of my right eye bright red what I thought were florescent lights through my living room window. It is six feet wide four ft height. Both side windows were opened with screens on. It was now dark outside 10:30 approx.The left window is open and the red object was the whole width of window. There was a sound that was very low feel more like pressure ..ohm ohm. I felt it more than heard. The red laser/florescent beams were coming out of bright light in all directions and were different lengths up to ten feet or more.The area behind was illuminated with red light. I couldn’t define any outline. I sat up on couch and said ‘holy shit’ I knew that this made no sense.I said ‘holy shit’ again feeling mesmerized by what i was seeing.I called my daughter. I continued to stare at it and walked to window to get a better look.My daughter came into room and we both watched it hover then red beams retracted and red glow dimmed and it retracted in upon itself and got 100times smaller than it originally was.We could see the red beams get smaller and go into the light.the brightness faded and it blinked an small orange/amber light twice and disappeared. I didn’t even think to take a picture. We were wondering if beings could see us.

Harrison Lake Square-Shaped Lights UFO June 23rd 2014 1am
UFO details report: The early morning of Monday June 23rd both my husband and I went for a walk on the beach at Harrison Hot Springs here in British Columbia. We walked around until we reached an area close to the man made lake with benches and sat down. As we chatted all of a sudden birds that were swimming in the lake behind us seemed to get startled by something, squawked and quickly flew away. At this moment we looked back as you can imagine it was very dark, not a star in the nights sky as it was a cloudy night/morning. As we turned back around in the seat my husband noticed two bright lights in the sky that seemed to be below cloud level, they were steady in the sky not a sound was heard. I started shooting video right after I took a still shot of the lights. As the video started recording the lights seemed to slightly turn to the left. Then seemed to start coming together, the light on the left started to flicker then went off and at that point the light on the right started to do the same. The bright lights disappeared. We sat there for about 10-15 more minutes in amazement of what we just experienced. It started to become extremely cold and windy after, so we walked back to the resort. Earlier on Sunday June 22nd at around 10pm-10:30pm we were swimming in the pool at Harrison resort and we saw the same bright light, just one at that time though. ..we kind of brushed it off not really realizing what it might be. If you zoom up on the still photo I’ve taken, both lights are identical in shape, size and brightness.

Large V shaped UFO 1980s

UFO details report: This is not a recent sighting but rather one that happened over 30 years ago, but I wanted to share my experience now just in case for whatever reason I can’t in the future.On an early summer evening at around 11:00 pm on a very clear moon lit night I saw an alien craft in the sky. I won’t say it was an Unidentified Flying Object because it was definitely not a human made craft. A jet flying overhead at 20.000 can’t be identified by its airline logo but we know its of human make.
What I saw was of alien make and design. I call this a NHOC, or Non Human Operated Craft. Travelling as a passenger in a car south of 100 Mile House, heading south, the trees on either side of highway 97 thinned out enough so I could see off into the distance somewhat. Looking to my right I noticed what I thought at first was lights of a low flying plane at what I judged to be around 10 clicks out, at what I think was only about 300 metres from the ground. Fear and incredulity hit me as I saw 5 distinct colours of white, blue, red, green and orange in a V shaped formation approach us at such a high rate of speed that at the time I just could not believe what I was seeing.
The lights seemed to slow down as it neared, and for just a brief moment I clearly saw that the lights were not independent of each other, but rather were underneath and part of an extremely large V shaped or boomerang shaped craft. Because of the cloudless night lit up with stars and a bright moon I could see the faint outline of an alien craft. IT WAS HUGE. At least half a click in width from wing tip to wing tip. To say that it picked up speed and shot off to my left heading east would be a gross understatement. More like it engaged at warp 10. From the time I first spotted the lights, saw that it was non human and watched it peel off until it grew too faint to see anymore, took about a grand total of 7 seconds from start to finish. And of course, the person driving didn’t see anything. He was too busy cursing the air blue that his car had momentarily lost all electrical power and shut down in the middle of highway 97. I think I weakly said I just saw a UFO but I remember the withered look he gave me and I made no more attempt at bringing it up.It’s taken me 30 years to talk about this. Back in the day you would have been labelled a crack pot but in today’s world its more common place.
The whole incident was strange and scary and wonderful but one detail that still haunts me was the lack of sound. Not only was this craft completely silent on its overhead pass of us, but I dimly recall that there was no noise at all. No radio no engine no tire noise, just absolute and complete silence for a couple of seconds as it passed overhead. almost like what happens to our ears as we descend from a plane, only times that by 10.I hope my telling of this incident does not come across as rambling. I have seen many light orbs since that night 30 years ago but they were not ever as physically as real as that V shaped NHOC.

Prince George Spring 2013 UFOs
UFO details report: This incident happened in the spring of 2013. I don’t remember the date but it must have been late spring, maybe April or May. I was driving to work toward downtown Prince George around 8:30 AM. I was driving along Ferry avenue near the cemetery and toward the Fraser river, when I noticed what looked like a very bright star. It was after dawn and the sky was blue so I thought it might be Venus or another planet as they are often visible at this time of day when other stars are no longer visible. I noticed something strange about the relationship of the position of the object above the hills across the river. It seemed like the object was moving very quickly in a straight line moving west away from the city. I estimated that if the object were at an elevation comparable to that of an airplane, it was likely 5 to 10 kilometers away from me, over the forest, and moving much faster than a plane; likely 1000 to 1500 km/hr. I could only see it for maybe a minute before I rounded the corner by the river and lost sight of the object behind the now-looming hills. There is an airport nearby by the trajectory did not seem right for a plane, nor did the speed of the object. There were none of the usual blinking red or green lights normally on planes. Planes in the area would be either landing or taking off – not passing overhead. There are no flyover routes in the area.

Fernie BC UFOs
UFO details report: At 12:34 am on Sun Oct 20th I opened my front door to let the dog out. To the northwest of my house over the lizard range I noticed 3 bright red lights in vertical alignment with a 4th light closer to the 2500 m mountain and moving south. My first thought was they were stars and that didn’t make sense so my second thought was an aircraft. I watched the lights for a few min. The 3 vertical lights faded away and the low 4th light continued moving slowly along the ridge of the mountain and either dropped below the ridge or faded away less than a second later. I think that it did appear to cast some light on the ridge as it went.

Update April 23rd 2014
“I can confirm I have seen the exact same thing. I check the Fernie postings often since that night to see if anyone else has seen it. We were at the Red Tree Lodge ( passing through, it’s gorgeous!) in mid June 2012. I went out to stare at the stars and saw one very bright red dot too high to be plane… Too low to be a planet or star; of this I’m sure. I thought it might be a satellite as it moved swiftly in a horizontal line. It occurred to me that satellites don’t move that fast, it quickly changed directions now going vertical. Now I was spooked, the dot paused and I almost lost it in the haze of stars. Just as I gave up it went in the opposite direction than before, seemed to get almost animated as it (ok this is the crazy part, which is why I waited for someone else to report ..)- split into three red lights and rapidly flew away from each other! No satellite does that! This is my only UFO story. I’ve told it a lot. No it was not a light show, these objects had mass. I don’t think I gave UFO’s a thought before. There is no way a plane(s) could get that high without rocket propulsion, I’ve actually thought about it many times. I hope this will be my only UFO story ever. I was actually creeped out for days. I mostly want to let the other people who’ve seen it that they weren’t hallucinating”

Fort Nelson Triangle Report

“Sighting of August 12, 2013, 11:00-11:30pm Fort Nelson, BC sky watching for meteor shower. Sky was dark and clear, had just gone out and looking up for a few minutes and was actually more stunned than anything at what appeared in the sky just over the roof line. The craft was completely silent, I assumed it was triangular in shape because of the lights position, three large circular white lights in a triangle shape and one circular red light. It came over the house from the north and went south in a straight line. It was going so slowly,( like a small cessna would) and so low, the lights were very bright but on the bottom, the light didn’t appear to “shine down” like say your headlights on the car. Very odd, I had taken my young granddaughter out to see the meter shower and although I wouldn’t have left her alone in the dark even for a moment it actually didn’t even occur to me to grab my camera, I was simply too amazed, disbelief maybe.”

Sooke BC Close Encounter 1984

“Lived at an old logging camp outside of Sooke BC. One dusk, heard strange vibrational sounds, almost inaudible, felt more then heard. Boyfriend and I went to check it out before it got dark. Were able to come up to it by climbing a small dune maybe 30′, and looking over and across a empty timber landing, what we saw I’ll never forget. What appears to be a huge, at the time i said the length of a football field, 200′ long “cigar” shaped “craft” of some dark metallic material with dim lights and what appears as darkened windows?? They were absolutely no people, cars trucks or any sign of life other then this craft that appears to be hovering just above the earth, no wind, same low vibrational sounds but louder. We were not there a minute when a blinding light came at us, I though it was a single beam. It scared the shit out of me, i immediately ducked from the light,as only my head was above the sand dune. My friend seemed to memorizes and I had to jerk his leg to get his attention, i said lets run home and we did. One neighbor told us the military does something up there?? The next morning at dawn i rushed over, and even though i was leaving footprints, I could not find one physical sign of what we saw, it did not leave a mark. My friend and I broke up soon after this and i just recently talked to him, last six months, and as bizarre as it sounds he actually claims to have no memory of this, even though he did remember the neighbors comment??This is all too eerie, I have no explanation. I did have a dream once though where some entity was trying to take “my memories”, and i stubbornly stood my ground and said “you will never take my memories from me”. What the hell is going on. I swear this is the gods truth about what I saw. I’m more concerned now that he has no memory, I always figured when I spoke to him, I would have confirmation, not denial. That light was the harshest penetrating blinding light I have ever been subjected to, and if I couldn’t duck i’m sure i would have been blinded. I have no explanations for what I saw that night so long ago now…. You can’t even get there now, Anderson Road, at end sign says “no trespassing, will be shot’ or something like that, never seen such a strongly worded “keep out” sign”

“While lying in bed very awake and alert looking out the window a very bright white lighted mass or object about 2cm in size flying left to right very quickly over the eastern sky above the nearby mountain.I watched it approx 5-10 seconds until it was out of my view. It was still dark and the sky was overcast with a ceiling of about 2000ft.The objects speed and height were constant.There was no audible noise. I initially thought it was a shooting star or jet crashing but then realized it was overcast also the quality of it’s brightness never changed.”

Kelowna Sighting Report April 25 2013

My two friends and i were on the balcony watching the full moon rise tonight, i just felt an energy and felt like something was going to happen. Then all of a sudden a glowing orb appeared in between two stars, started moving in different directions, slowly moved off then just disappeared. There was at least 4-5 other sightings like this.Then I saw an almost V-shaped 3 bright white lights flying across the sky, then stopped and hoovered aligned with what looked like two stars, they changed positions, looked like they were communicating changing colour, and it almost looked like it slowly lowered down behind the mountains vertically.Sat in awe for around 30 minutes watching.

A Lifetime of UFOs
I have had several sighting of UFO’s since I was a child. The first was when I was six years old on the coast of British Columbia in a small town called Bella Coola. Because of its mountains and remote location there is never any air traffic there. My Dad and Mom and I were leaving my grandmothers house late one night, I remember my Dad saying what the hell is that. I looked up and saw a big disc with purple and white rotating lights hovering above our truck. I don’t remember anything after that. My Mom remembers seeing it to this day so I know it was not a figment of my imagination. Unfortunately my Dad cannot remember the event. Around 2005 When I lived in Taylor B.C. I filmed a ball of fire falling from the sky, it seemed as though it was trying to fly. It would veer sideways and then slowly fall straight then it would zig zag. CJDC the local news came and did a story on it and I also sent the story to CBC with the footage but never had a return call. So that was the end of that. Last summer my husband, his friend Shawn and myself were sitting outside having a fire. We lived just outside Dawson Creek on the Kiskatnaw river. It was a very quiet night around 2 in the morning. I looked up and saw a light flying low through the cloud. At first I thought it was a plane but it had no sound and it was really low. Then behind it there was a second light that was triangle shaped with two lights on the sides. It was chasing the other light and it to had no sound. Then all of a sudden the first light disappeared and the second immediately turned sharply in a sideways direction and took off. Everyone saw this happen. I still see things that I cannot explain but these 3 incidents were the most vivid and thought I should share them.

Waterfront UFOs British Columbia
Powell River B.C., Lang Bay area, on the waterfront,where I live with a view of both Texada and Vancouver Island. I was out on my deck, which over looks the ocean. I have seen, both my neighbor and I have seen several sightings over the past few months.We’ve seen sightings the past three nights and before that it was around March 6th of this year (2013) also over about 3 days in a row. In the same general area. Always seen off our deck.
What I first noticed was the size the speed and the intense bright orange ball of light. It went up hovered for a bit and went up higher in the sky hovered again..and then traveled towards my direction within seconds it traveled from over Vancouver Island above the waters between Lang Bay and Texada…stopped..it was also completely silent. It moved quickly to the right then up higher to the left and then went straight up into space,That was the first sighting it all happened it what seemed like less then 60 seconds…
They are always lights, usually orange sometimes blue the blue ones are smaller but they all move fast and seem to have the ability to get brighter or dimmer and even have there brightness disappear..with still seeing some type of outline ..
omg this all sounds crazy, but I know what I seen.. and I am not the only one..It is nothing from this world ..We have nothing that moves with those speeds silently and stops dead hovers moves in any direction and almost seems to have an intelligence to the lights if that makes any sense.
My reaction was I was mesmerized..couldn’t believe my eyes and started questioning my own sanity…was very curious and in awe and kinda afraid and questioned my faith.

Strange Feeling Of They’re Here

“Hello saw a bright star like light in the sky today this afternoon wondering if anyone else saw it.I first thought it was a helicopter but it was too bright for the headlight of a copter I feel also it was too still too steady i actually thought it was really a star about the same size as one at night but this was in broad daylight cloudy sky it was between clouds and I was parked facing the Duncan BC track in the middle of the city of Duncan.My five year old son was with me he saw it as well.We stared for about five minutes at it I could not make sense of it waited for it to do something then it disappeared suddenly to the left at an upward angle.What then got to me as strange was not that we saw this light but that later on today i was searching in the used cowichan for junk for free and this add for Gibbons road was free items and I couldn’t recall where that was I am new to Duncan.I punched in on the internet road map for Duncan.I punched in Gibbons road Duncan BC I see a video for a footage of driving down Gibbons road I press that and there’s this video for footage next to that for UFO sighting in Duncan BC. It the same looking light. Freaking weird I stumbled upon that.Too strange a coincidence. Strange feeling of “they’re here””

Zig Zagging Lights In The Night Sky
Hi there,This occurred in the summer of July 1994. I was working a late shift in West Vancouver, British Columbia and got off duty at 0200hrs. I met up with some friends of mine in the parking lot of the Cypress Bowl Ski resort. The parking lot was vacant, just myself and my friends and the ski resort was shut down for the night. It was a warm, clear night with tons of stars visible. The resort is high above the city of Vancouver and the way that parking lot lies, there is a mountain between the city and the parking lot and there is little light pollution for being so close to the city.We were all lying on our backs on the parking lot pavement facing north west and looking up at the sky and about to partake in some beers. This is when we noticed a pinpoint of light, about the size of and magnitude of the brighter stars in the sky, but this one was moving about the same speed as a commercial aircraft at high altitude from the north west sky, travelling to the south east sky. We originally thought this was a satellite when after about 10 seconds of observing it, it abruptly dog legged to the south at a high rate of speed for less than a second and then resumed it’s track to the south west at the same speed. It literally zig zagged. The object would have had to abruptly turn to the right then turn to the left, the turns were immediate at 90 degree angles and there was no graduated turns that the object made that it would have had to made if it were some type of aircraft. The object continued on it’s track and disappeared about 10 seconds later, prior to reaching the south east horizon. It was difficult to say how high the object was or how large it was as we only saw a pinpoint of white light. There was no sound associated and the object did not shimmer, unlike the background stars.

Bear Mountain Cigar Shaped UFO

Location: Bear Mountain, Langford, Victoria, BC, Canada Date: June 12 2010 Time: 12:55pm Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Long cylindrical (cigar) shape Weather Conditions: Clear and sunny
Description: I noticed a flying vehicle in the sky after finishing off some work we had to do to the house we’ve been building. It was long smooth and cylindrical (cigar) shaped. Metallic (resembling stainless steel) with no visible markings, windows, doors, wings, or even a means of propulsion. It was completely silent cruising at a consistent direction, altitude and speed. It seemed to be traveling much faster than any planes I’ve ever seen. I watched it travel from one horizon to the other in a matter of 20 seconds or so. I presume it was not man made. If in fact it is a man made craft (unlikly) then such a vehicle is not public knowledge. Using Google Earth I determined the object was traveling in a North Westerly direction. What’s strange is that it must have flew over the city (Victoria) but I haven’t found any reports from the news/radio/paper. Victoria is a harbour city and locals are used to seeing the float planes that frequent our skies here, but they can easily be identified. This was without a doubt something very different. It’s size and shape was comparable to the fuselage (main body) of a large airplane. If I hold a penny at arms length it was approx. the same size as that penny in the distance when it was closet to me (the most visible). When I first noticed the object I kept repeating “What is that?” aloud so someone else would notice the object. I got a roofers attention who was standing near me and no matter how hard he looked for it he didn’t seem to see it. I was confused because it stood out against the clear blue sky and should have easily been seen. I was standing next to him pointing right at it as it darted away beyond the horizon and he shrugged it off and said “Heh, it must be aliens”.

UFO Sighting In A Schoolyard
Comox British Columbia Circa 1998 (Exact date/time not remembered)
“I have always been interested by the UFO phenomenon. This is a simple sighting that happened when I was in grade 5 and attending elementary school in Comox in 1998. All I really recall is that my Friend (B) was walking around the schoolyard with me and as we were about to go around the side of the school we noticed what I called a “burning penny.” It seemed to be falling from the sky. We didn’t really understand what we were looking at but knew we had to tell someone. After about 15 seconds of looking at it, we ran up to the playground supervisor who we knew and said “look at that!” We pointing to the place in the sky were it was but it was gone. After that we both new what we had seen and tried to explain it by saying maybe it was a meteor or a piece of space debris or even a mirage on a hot day. Things just didn’t add up. As I recall, I was just starting to get into UFO’s and other mysterious things at that time but that really jump started my curiosity on the subject.”

Kitimat UFO Sighting Report
Kitimat British Columbia A Huge Oval Shaped Object Traveling Quickly
Date: Around the Summer of 1990
Time: Approx: 2:00 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Kitimat, B.C.

Shape of objects: Large blurry oval light.
Full Description of event/sighting: This event happened quite a long time ago now, but I have thought about it often and still wonder what we saw. I wanted to share it with you so that it was recorded somewhere that it happened, because it is something that my friend and I have never forgotten. I grew up in Kitimat B.C. and my close friend and I used to have sleepovers at each others houses quite often. We would sleep out in the camper at her house and often would sneak out in the middle of the night and wander around. She was a year older than me, so we would have been about 11 and 12 years old at the time. We were walking along a sidewalk on a very clear summer night when we both saw a huge light come out of no where and go behind the mountain. It was a bluish green light, and looked oval, maybe it would have been round, but the speed it was moving made it look more oval?
It was coming in at an angle. It appeared travelling very fast and disappeared behind the mountain within about seconds. I can describe the size only because the mountain it went behind has almost like a big chunk missing from it and the light filled that missing chunk. I found a picture online of the mountain showing the missing chunk so you can see the size of it. This picture is much closer than where we were standing. We were across town from the actual mountain but it is clearly visible from anywhere in town.
We speculated that maybe it was a meteor and when we told her mom the next morning, she said it’s probably some kind of satellite. We just couldn’t imagine why anything would be done with satellites in an out of the way town like Kitimat. It was the amazing size of the light that was so mind-blowing. The image I have attached shows the mountain in behind the local hotel. The chunk I am referring to is the big U shape right above the building, to the left side. The light was as wide as that gap and about twice as long. It disappeared in behind it but no signs or sounds of any impact.
I hope this description gives you an idea of what we saw. I will always wonder what exactly that was.
I have heared this also as i was working in Terrace and kitimat at that time.

A Hovering Ivory Colored Sphere

A co-worker and I, while in the parking lot at work today (Sept 11th, 2008 1pm-ish), saw a hovering ivory colored sphere. Its hard to tell how high or large it was, but it just sat there, and every once and a while it would shift slightly. At first it looked to be at least the size of a basketball, or bigger. But it was a beautiful blue clear sky, and there was no clouds to gage its size by. We stood watching it slowly ascend for a good 20 to 30 minutes before it became too small to see. A couple other people saw it as well after it had risen quite a bit and looked like a big daylight star before it vanished strait up. It was an amazing sighting. I don’t know how else to describe it.

Surrey/Delta Border, British Columbia – Round Object Looked Like A Spinning Top

Driving down Scott Road and thought it was a plane at first in the distance, but as it approached and the angle that it turned at I knew a commercial plane would not do that especially at such a low level in the sky. I turned down the next street I came to, after the UFO turned to see if I could get a better angle and view, but it was so far away by then. We regularly have planes flying over our home because of where we are located in proximately to the airport. This however looked like a spinning top one of the old fashioned ones you may have played with as a child. The big metal ones. It was silver-ish in color and sort of different levels going in on the top and bottom with the middle being the biggest width round.

Prince George To Quesnel, British Columbia – Blue Colored Object

I just recently moved to Quesnel. I work at Wal-Mart, I had mentioned to a coworker that when I was riding down Plywood Road Hill around 12 am (a very dark road at night) that I had this strange fear of running into a UFO for some reason. I never saw one that night, but I won’t ride down there again at night. But anyways my coworker had said that someone else saw some lights on this very road. I’m not too sure of the total story, but I’m going to inquire abit more about it tomorrow. But anyways I did a Google search of UFOs in Quesnel and came across a couple of your links. I read that one about July 23 2008, which started my memory running. I moved down here around the beginning of August 2008, and I remember when me my Dad and my Step mom were coming down the highway, heading south from Prince George to Quesnel, it was about just over half way I think. It was around nine pm and the sun was going down and I remember my Step mom saying, hey look at that light in the sky.
It’s not moving. I looked, it was blue like a star sort of, but it was kind of stationary. It seemed to be staying in the same place even though we were moving around corners and going up hills. At first I said it’s just a bright star. But when I looked for it a couple minutes later it was gone. I thought it was kind of odd, I just dismissed it out of my mind until reading that recent sighting. Looking back now I wish I would have looked at it longer. It could have been a star but I’m not too sure now.

Nanaimo BC UFO Report May 21st 2009 9:45
“I went outside of my residence to have a cigarette when I spotted a large light overhead. It was about 10 times the size of any star or planet in the night sky. It was very bright white and had a slight blue halo around the light. It was traveling directly overhead towards Richmond or Delta BC on the mainland. My first thoughts were that it was a very large low flying jet or search helicopter. But, I soon realized that there was no detectable wind to blow away any sound waves and any sound of a jet engine or helicopter just did not exist. I ran into my house and got my spouse to come outside. By the time we got back outside, the object appeared to be over the Georgia Straight somewhere between Nanaimo and Tsawwassen BC. At that exact time my neighbor came outside to let his dogs out. We asked him if he could see what we are seeing or knew what it could possibly be. With some brief instruction to where the object was he too had no idea of what we were witness to. At that time the object began a slight movement from side to side as it traveled east south-east from Nanaimo. We continued to watch the bright silent object until it appeared to be above the Tsawwassen ferry terminal or somewhere close to Mt. Baker Washington. All of a sudden the object began to turn from the white/blue shade to a red shade. It also began to shrink to total invisibility within a span of 5 seconds.The entire incident lasted approximately 3 minutes. My wife, my neighbor and myself stood totally speechless for at least 30 seconds while our brains collectively tried to rationalize what we just witnessed together. Unable to make any sense of the situation we all somehow just retreated back to our residences with the hair on the back of our necks standing up. Shortly before 11pm that evening, after repeatedly checking the night sky every 10 minutes, I did go out for another cigarette with my spouse. Looking east over the city of Vancouver a slight bit toward the north shore, we noticed a pulsing red light moving north. We watched this oddity for several minutes and witnessed it changing speed of travel multiple times. We watched again in awe for at least 5 minutes until it disappeared behind trees in front of our residence.My spouse and I have no idea what we witnessed in the late evening of May 21st 2009. My neighbor refuses to speak of the event.”

Summerland BC UFO Report August 2007
I was driving out of Summerland towards Kelowna ,had just got into where the Hwy 97 turns into a single between the mountain and Ok. lake. It was 9pm. I looked up and saw a bright lime green orb like object fly by over in front of me about a couple hundred feet maybe more.It ascended over the mountain or hill on the left of the highway.The object was large and moved much too slowly to be anything that i could understand to be man made.Even too slowly too be meteor-like which would logically ascend rapidly and out of control.What really struck me as odd was the really bright lime green colour. After witnessing this I pulled over in awe hoping to see it again. I also then called my mother on my cell and explained what i saw.Then drove back home in Winfield.

A jet was flying due east, most likely to Vancouver International Airport. The sun glistened off part of the jet’s body. Following behind the jet on the port side, a disc followed at exactly the same speed.

When Canadians looked up, up in the sky in 2008, an unusual number weren’t able to identify what they were looking at as either a bird, a plane … or anything else.
In all, according to Winnipeg-based Ufology Research, there were 1,004 reports of unidentified flying objects across Canada in 2008, an increase of 26 per cent over 2007. Reports had been filed by witnesses with government and military agencies, police, civilian UFO groups and online UFO websites.
Vancouver Island was no exception, says Houston, B.C. based UFO researcher Brian Vike.
“There has definitely been an upswing,” said Vike, a former mill worker who runs HBCC UFO Research from his home in the B.C.’s Central Interior.
There could be a number of reasons, he continued, including more actual events taking place, but Vike suggests a lot of it has to do with the advent of the World Wide Web.
“The Internet makes a big difference,” he said. “Before, people would send a letter, but they often wouldn’t know who to contact if they saw something. They would keep it to themselves because they didn’t want to be laughed at.”
Vike said he believes the upswing in sightings is just the tip of a very large iceberg, because of this fear of ridicule.
“I bet we only get five per cent of what has been seen,” he said. “Nobody wants to talk about it for whatever reason, but I bet if I walked around Parksville with my HBCC UFO Research jacket on, you would be surprised at how many would say, ‘oh, I saw something last month that was really weird.’”
I was lying on my back as the sky darkened to look at the stars. I saw what I thought was a satellite, as it did not blink, but appeared to be moving. As I continued to watch, it stopped and changed direction and moved behind clouds. As I checked other parts of the sky I found more of these odd-moving lights — at least four at any given time.
These lights appeared to be at a high altitude, but moved quickly from time to time … It was then that it peeled out in an opposite direction and stopped and zig-zagged and even appeared to be forming some type of figures with its movement.

Most of what Vike does is to turn UFOs into IFOs, identified flying objects. The vast majority of strange sightings in the sky, he said, are easily explainable.
“A lot of them are easy to figure out from the description,” he said. “I get a time and date and the first thing I do is find out where the International Space Station was at that time.
“A lot of them will be that. A lot of them are aircraft. With some of them though, it’s impossible to tell.”
Vike said the Parksville sighting falls into this category.
“The lights were up really high, lots of these little lights up in the sky,” he said. “They may have been satellites if they were flying in a straight path, but when they start stopping and start zig-zagging, that’s pretty unusual. I don’t know of anything that can maneuver like that. A jet fighter can do good maneuvers, but they still have to curve out, and some of these were very sharp, going straight across and then stopping and turning back on itself.”
On the night of Sept. 3, 2008 I stepped out side to have a smoke, as I live in a basement suite with my two birds. I just lit my smoke when I heard the sound of a jet in the sky. I looked up and sure enough, there were two jets, like air force jets. As I watched them, I saw something that was travelling at a high speed and not far behind them. It was round had many different coloured flashing lights rotating around the bottom.
All of a sudden it just stopped following them and turned and went out over the ocean. It stopped again and the craft broke up into three separate orbs. These orbs went around at a high rate and … went up and down and sideways before they rejoined again. I got scared because they didn’t look like they were so far up any more. Just as I turned to go in and get the phone, I saw it start to spin at an incredible rate of speed. It shot straight up and was out of sight in … three seconds.

Although Vike said he has seen an increase in reported sightings of odd things in the air from Vancouver Island over the past year, he said it’s not one of the recognized hot spots for strange sightings.
“I think Vancouver Island is pretty average,” he said. “At times it can get a good spike going, but I think it takes somebody to say they saw something and contact the media and then, bang, you get a whole whack of reports coming in.”
Some of these reports, he admits, are hoaxes, but after nine years of devoting his life to his research, following an industrial accident that left him unable to work in the mill anymore, he has learned how to tell them apart.
“If it doesn’t make sense, it ain’t true,” he said.
Unidentified flying objects, he stressed, are unidentified, so to suggest they are alien space ships is most often unhelpful at best.

In summer 2002,an elderly woman, believed murdered by her Son, went missing in the Loon Lake Resort area near Clinton, BC. Myself, 4 other members of BC Search & Rescue (SAR) and a member of the RCMP were camped at the eastern end of the lake. At approximately 0200 AM a large star appeared above the treeline to the east. Later the object dropped below the treeline. Distance to the ‘star’ was approximately 1 km. Three members of the group went to investigate: we found a large triangular object hovering in the sky at a distance of approx. 500m from us. A ‘shimmering energy’ moved back and forth over the underside of the otherwise black craft. We watched the craft for approximately 2-3 minutes and the craft aggressively and rapid took off north. I reported this UFOBC that year and they reported to me that the same craft had been reported from Van Island to the Yukon.

BC Alien Encounter
Miriam Delicado has been on an incredible 20-year journey that began on the outskirts of 100 Mile house one October night in 1988.
The current Vancouv-erite, who was 22 at the time, lived in northern BC and she and four others were on their way to the Lower Mainland when the incredible is said to have happened.
Driving south along Hwy. 97, just past Prince George, Delicado said a pair of huge, luminescent lights drew up and followed within 10 feet of their back bumper.
“It was night time and we thought it was a truck but the lights would follow us when we were alone and then disappear when a car or a house came into view,” said Delicado. “After the lights had been following us for hours, we came to 100 Mile House and I thought we’d be able to lose whatever it was.”
They nervously sped through town and, within minutes of leaving 100 Mile, the lights were back on their tail, appearing and disappearing within the blink of an eye, she said.
“I started panicking and told my friend to pull over. She said no, because she was scared, but I told her that it wasn’t her they wanted, it was me. As soon as we stopped she turned into a zombie. Her head flopped back and she just had a blank stare and the back seat people were in animated suspension,” said Delicado.
What happened next brought Delicado to the realization that her inner fears had been well-founded.
“The two spheres were a foot behind us and the car was engulfed in bright light. I turned to the front of the car and saw a craft sitting on the road. It was luminescent and it was hard to see the details but it looked like there was steam coming off of it,” she said.
Short beings, close to four feet tall, with big round, black eyes and large, childlike heads approached her.
“They had a small mouth and tiny nose and wore a one-piece suit and I heard instructions in my head to get out of the car. I was scared but not terrified, more in a state of confusion, but they kept saying not to be afraid. We will not harm you,” said Delicado.
The beings took her hand and they all walked a short way along the highway and up an embankment. Delicado said that when she looked up, she saw a larger craft with an open doorway.
“There were two tall beings, seven feet tall, in the doorway. They had blond hair of the purest white, large, water blue eyes and they wore long robes,” she said.
Delicado boarded the craft, which she recalled to have had a metallic interior with a sterile feel.
“In the centre was a circular work area with stools and overhead was a hovering white light ball of what I think was energy. It seemed to be a control centre where information streamed from the ball to the beings,” she said.
Her communication with the beings seemed to occur through telepathy.
“They sat me down on some kind of light chair recliner and, in front of me, a screen appeared which showed pictures of possible futures of the Earth. I saw an earthquake aftermath and they explained what it was and seemed to have the ability to place the experience within me. They gave me the physical ability to experience the trauma,” she said.
Delicado said she spent about three hours on the craft, watching what appeared to be a movie of some sort, before returning to the car. Everyone woke up when she got back and there was conversation about the lights, but no recognition of what she claims to have seen.
She drew the group’s attention to what she said were a group of glowing eyes on the side of the road. Everyone else thought they were deer, but Delicado believed they were aliens, watching.
They continued on their journey to the Lower Mainland without conversation about what Delicado believes to have happened but, the next day, new memories that had been embedded in her mind started to spill out.
Experiences of war, meteors hitting the earth and other disasters played over and over in her head.
“They started to filter clearly into my mind. All of these possibilities of a future we are heading for if we don’t change the path humanity is on,” said Delicado.
The experience
instilled in her how important it is to have a respect for the earth and made her believe humans are not alone in the universe.
“We have a responsibility to ourselves and to all of life,” she said.
Delicado believes the beings she claims to have seen are the caretakers of the earth.
“They are not allowed to interfere with what we are doing here on earth, but they give people like me information and we have the free will to do what we want with the information.”
She kept it all her own secret for 15 years but, during that time, Delicado claims to have had many telepathic communications with the beings.
There were also unusual encounters, she said, with men who looked and dressed the same and all claimed to work in the computer industry.
“They all talked about the same thing. About computer technology and about aliens and they all said they installed super-computers for the government,” said Delicado, noting that she’s met others at various UFO conventions who have had the same experience.
Delicado said she was telepathically instructed on when to start publicly sharing her experience and knowledge and for the past five years has been filling requests to speak at conventions and other gatherings. She said that since going public, she’s received emails from people all over the world claiming to have had the same types of experiences.
She believes she was chosen because her soul had already chosen a conducive path, long ago.
“My family has a psychic strain,” she said, explaining that her father had psychic abilities.
“He didn’t talk about aliens, but he talked about how the earth would change one day and how we needed survival skills and know how to defend ourselves,” said Delicado.
She described her message from the aliens as not being a dark one, but one of hope and encouragement.
“These beings have been out there since the beginning of time and my understanding is that they take care of other planets out there. They are also in the dream world and some walk around us. I’ve seen them in public and they don’t look like us, but others don’t see what I’m seeing,” said Delicado, recalling encounters on city buses and other public places.
She said that everyday for her involves just trying to fit in because she finds it difficult to view the world in the same way she once did. She’s worked in the food services industry and as a nanny and house cleaner but most recently, Delicado turned author, writing a book about her experiences she called “Blue Star: Fulfilling Prophecy”.
“The right people are finding their way to the book and that’s the goal,” she said. “I want to share this story with others who have had a similar experience so they know they are on the right path and there are others out there like themselves.”
According to Delicado, her experience came shortly after she watched a television special called UFO Coverup? Live! It was a two-hour prime-time syndicated television special that was broadcast in North America and elsewhere on Oct. 14, 1988.
A couple of high-level U.S. government intelligence officials, disguised as “The Falcon” and “Condor” were interviewed in shadow and with masked voices. They disclosed information about the U.S. government’s involvement in UFOS and alien interaction, UFO crashes and occupant retrievals. The show also included the first public mention of Area 51, a highly secret military airfield in Nevada used for testing experimental aircraft and weaponry and a central component to UFO folklore.

Vintage BC UFO Event
After reading your Canadian UFO Report I am unable to resist writing about a little incident that happened to me in Duncan, BC away back in 1908 when I was 12 years old. It is one thing in my life I shall never forget.
As we had never heard of UFOs or flying saucers in those days, I have never claimed to have seen one until I heard just recently that an old neighbor of ours, Mrs. Campbell, claimed to have seen a UFO away back in the early days and I think it would have been about the same year that I saw mine. She described it almost exactly the same as mine but like me she didn’t tell anyone – that is, I did tell my young friends and was considered a little bit – well, you know – ever since.
We lived the good life in those days, close to the river on three acres, with a cow, chickens etc. but no electric light, no running water, no phone nor cars, and nothing ever flew without wings – except maybe the thistle seeds.
It was a beautiful evening in later summer and after supper we had all gone for a walk down to the river and, as it was quite dark coming home, I ran on ahead of the others to shut the chicken-yard door (lots of mink and ‘coons around so it had to be tight) which was well out of sight of the others.
As I was about to shut the door the whole opening was filled with a flash of very bright light. I jumped back stunned, my eyes on the light. It rose on an angle to about 30 feet, judging by trees in the background, and then it changed to a dark mass with a cluster of red, blue and green lights on it, not bright enough to cast a glow. And then in a changed direction it moved quite slowly for maybe 200 or 300 feet and just disappeared. There was no sound or heat that I remember.
I was absolutely in a panic. I ran into the dark house and lay down on the floor under a window so the thing couldn’t see me, I suppose – but that’s panic!
When the rest of them came into the house I got up off the floor but was quite unable to speak, and I couldn’t tell anyone about it for weeks afterward and then only to my young friends and was ridiculed and considered a bit queer after that – and surely felt queer, too!
My neighbor’s sighting was different from mine only in that hers was on the ground, but it moved away horizontally and disappeared as mine did. Both seemed to need urgently to avoid us. But what on earth could that thing have been doing in our chicken yard?
I wonder if any other old-timers around there have seen any such thing and I wonder also about Angel Hair!
We were coming home from school between Duncan’s Hill and Mr. Robertson’s Indian Office when we noticed that the air was filled with the long strings of something white drifting down from the sky. It was after the thistle seeds had finished their flight, so the time would be late summer, too. We tried to catch them but there was nothing there, and there were none on the ground either. I was too young to wonder about it much, and I never remember hearing any explanation.
I wonder if anyone around there remembers that. I don’t know why it stays in my memory.

19th Century Mystery Lights
Mysterious Lights Reported In British Columbia During 1897
That strange aerial curiosity the fire balloon that has been completely mystifying people of the northwest during the past two or three months is evidently becoming bolder or more people are keeping late hours than formerly and in consequence have had the good fortune to catch a glimpse of it. What it is, or where it comes from or where it goes to, and who or what manner of men are responsible for its movements, remains just as much as a puzzle as when the bright light first made its appearance in the sky a few months ago.
For upwards of two and a half hours Firemen North and Swain of the city brigade had opportunity to inspect the erratic visitor yesterday morning. However when it was finally lost to sight in the morning air they were completely mystified as to all its character as when they first sighted it. It was Swain whose first attention was attracted to the light he and his companion having been left on duty at the scene of a grass fire on the golf links that threatened if not carefully watched to break out afresh and cause damage to adjoining property. It was floating low then and he called to North to notice what a bright mast some ship was carrying. Then both men looked and North observed it could not be a mast light as no ship in these waters carried so bright a look out light. While they speculated the light came so near as to be mirrored in the waters of the Straits in the direction and apparently hanging over Discovery Island. It had no discernible form, balloon shape or otherwise, it was just a great light as large from the distance it was viewed as a drum from one of the hose reels, and brighter far, according to the two firemen than an electric light. As they watched it slowly rose and took off sailing in a direction of almost eighth of the horizon circle and then returning. As soon as it dawned upon the watchers that the object of their attention was the light of which so many had been talking it resulted in new particulars, and hurried over to the Mount Baker to procure a night glass. No instrument of the kind was available however and they had to rest content with bringing the night clerk of the hotel out to see what they had seen and be equally wonderstruck. Until four o’clock the brilliant body remained suspended in mid air passing slowly from east to west and back again three times and only disappearing with the coming of the day. At one time the firemen believed they saw a dark body outlined behind the circle of intense light but they could not identify it positively. To look at the light according to the witnesses was like looking at the sun at high noon. What the light was they cannot conjecture, they have listened to many theories during the past twenty four hours but can not reconcile any with what they have witnessed. The favourite theory is that some local inventor is trying the product of his daring in the privacy of the night, preparatory to giving his secret to the world. It must be a fact that the inventor is the most successful keeper of a secret to appear on the scene for quite some time and yet this seems the most rational explanation put forward. Too many have seen the mid night visitor for people of common sense to doubt the presence of a mysterious something…..
Mr. B. Serope Shrapnel writing from Old Oak Bay says myself and other members of my family watched the same brilliant light as described by the above mentioned firemen for nearly two hours. The only difference was that it appeared to be above Mary Todd Island swinging from side to side slowly and sometimes rising and falling in a similar manner. It was decidedly no reflection being quite as bright if not brighter than the nearest stars in view.

Have you seen the light in the heavens?..if not you are not up to date. It has been hovering in the skies above Vancouver almost every night this week, and has been viewed by many. It was last seen on Friday evening and may be on view tonight, and again it may not. Last night the strange object in the skies was noticed to the north of the city across the city traveling in an easterly direction. The luminous ball of fire or airship as some call it was closely watched. It approached with great swiftness, paused in midair, then surrounded itself with flashes of colour and moved towards the northeast. At times it looked like a ball of fire at others it had a dull lustre and small particles of fire would shoot from the great glowing mass. The sight was a great one and should be looked out for this evening. N. C. Schon of Burnaby saw the luminous body while on the steamer Rithet on Monday night. he states that it moved parallel to the sea far below the star line and looked like a bright red star surrounded by a luminous halo. It was cigar shaped and seemed to travel slowly and occasionally there seemed to drop a shower of sparks like the sputtering of an arc light. A World man saw the beautiful object from the office of the Chilean consulate under a powerful glass. Mr. Morris is for once puzzled as are many others who caught on to the wondrous spectacle. A wag suggested that it is the Klondike star pointing the way to untold wealth.

19th Century Mystery Lights
Mysterious Lights Reported In British Columbia During 1897
That strange aerial curiosity the fire balloon that has been completely mystifying people of the northwest during the past two or three months is evidently becoming bolder or more people are keeping late hours than formerly and in consequence have had the good fortune to catch a glimpse of it. What it is, or where it comes from or where it goes to, and who or what manner of men are responsible for its movements, remains just as much as a puzzle as when the bright light first made its appearance in the sky a few months ago.
For upwards of two and a half hours Firemen North and Swain of the city brigade had opportunity to inspect the erratic visitor yesterday morning. However when it was finally lost to sight in the morning air they were completely mystified as to all its character as when they first sighted it. It was Swain whose first attention was attracted to the light he and his companion having been left on duty at the scene of a grass fire on the golf links that threatened if not carefully watched to break out afresh and cause damage to adjoining property. It was floating low then and he called to North to notice what a bright mast some ship was carrying. Then both men looked and North observed it could not be a mast light as no ship in these waters carried so bright a look out light. While they speculated the light came so near as to be mirrored in the waters of the Straits in the direction and apparently hanging over Discovery Island. It had no discernible form, balloon shape or otherwise, it was just a great light as large from the distance it was viewed as a drum from one of the hose reels, and brighter far, according to the two firemen than an electric light. As they watched it slowly rose and took off sailing in a direction of almost eighth of the horizon circle and then returning. As soon as it dawned upon the watchers that the object of their attention was the light of which so many had been talking it resulted in new particulars, and hurried over to the Mount Baker to procure a night glass. No instrument of the kind was available however and they had to rest content with bringing the night clerk of the hotel out to see what they had seen and be equally wonderstruck. Until four o’clock the brilliant body remained suspended in mid air passing slowly from east to west and back again three times and only disappearing with the coming of the day. At one time the firemen believed they saw a dark body outlined behind the circle of intense light but they could not identify it positively. To look at the light according to the witnesses was like looking at the sun at high noon. What the light was they cannot conjecture, they have listened to many theories during the past twenty four hours but can not reconcile any with what they have witnessed. The favourite theory is that some local inventor is trying the product of his daring in the privacy of the night, preparatory to giving his secret to the world. It must be a fact that the inventor is the most successful keeper of a secret to appear on the scene for quite some time and yet this seems the most rational explanation put forward. Too many have seen the mid night visitor for people of common sense to doubt the presence of a mysterious something…..
Mr. B. Serope Shrapnel writing from Old Oak Bay says myself and other members of my family watched the same brilliant light as described by the above mentioned firemen for nearly two hours. The only difference was that it appeared to be above Mary Todd Island swinging from side to side slowly and sometimes rising and falling in a similar manner. It was decidedly no reflection being quite as bright if not brighter than the nearest stars in view.

Have you seen the light in the heavens?..if not you are not up to date. It has been hovering in the skies above Vancouver almost every night this week, and has been viewed by many. It was last seen on Friday evening and may be on view tonight, and again it may not. Last night the strange object in the skies was noticed to the north of the city across the city traveling in an easterly direction. The luminous ball of fire or airship as some call it was closely watched. It approached with great swiftness, paused in midair, then surrounded itself with flashes of colour and moved towards the northeast. At times it looked like a ball of fire at others it had a dull lustre and small particles of fire would shoot from the great glowing mass. The sight was a great one and should be looked out for this evening. N. C. Schon of Burnaby saw the luminous body while on the steamer Rithet on Monday night. he states that it moved parallel to the sea far below the star line and looked like a bright red star surrounded by a luminous halo. It was cigar shaped and seemed to travel slowly and occasionally there seemed to drop a shower of sparks like the sputtering of an arc light. A World man saw the beautiful object from the office of the Chilean consulate under a powerful glass. Mr. Morris is for once puzzled as are many others who caught on to the wondrous spectacle. A wag suggested that it is the Klondike star pointing the way to untold wealth.

Vernon, British Columbia November 11th 2008 approx. 12.30am
My husband and I went outside on our balcony at approximately 12:30 am to have a cigarette on November the 11th. We looked South at Middleton mountain and noticed this object. Its lights were bright white which then turned to red and then briefly turned to blue. Oddly the light patterns were mostly red and white. At one point there was a red beam shining down onto the mountainside. There was a cow mooing for the duration and the winds really picked up around us. I have never heard a cow moo this way before. This lasted for about a good minute or two that we noticed and don’t know how long it was there before. My husband grabbed the video camera, but the object vanished in a heartbeat!
