NUMBER 4 & my brother’s death in Las-Vegas Hospital -Strange paranormal synchronicity

I was watching TV when my phone rang. A frantic voice from the other side was screaming, help me please your brother is in the hospital.

Then I saw my mother holding my brother’s Sam hand and going upstairs, She turned her face to me and told me Wednesday, Wednesday and she was gone. Then I woke up from the dream, it was Wednesday Morning, and I prayed for my mother who passed away. I went to work and forgot about my dream. I kept thinking of what my mother had told me in the dream.

The next Wednesday I came home from work, took a shower, had my supper, wash my teeth and sat to watch TV when the phone rang. It was very strange when I heard my brother’s wife voice, she was in Las Vegas, she was crying and asked me if I could come asap as my brother Sam had a heart attack. She told me that they took him to the community hospital, and put him in ICU.

He was waiting for an open heart surgery as they found that he had 4 coronary stenoses up to 94 % each.

I asked my manager for a leave and he gave me one week off. I took the flight from Saskatoon to Las Vegas my brother’s wife was waiting at the airport.

We went directly to the hospital. My brother Sam was in ICU room number 4. his car was parked in lot number 4, remember that Wednesday is the fourth day of the week. He managed to have 2 operations and he was waiting for another one as the coronary arteries failed to open for some reason. The doctors took him for his 3rd operation and then the 4th operation.

He has his wife and 3 kids total of 4.

I was sleeping in the hall beside the ICU on the chairs, no one was in the hall, I opened my eyes and I can see my brother Sam almost floating in front of me 6 feet high , I Can see him so clear it was not a dream he was floating and when I start to focus on him  and called his name Sam, Sam is that you?he then vanished floating toward his bed to the ICU  .

And that when the ICU nurse called for code blue, and they did whatever they could but he was gone. I looked at the time and it was 4 am!

I didn’t want to bother his wife and the kids so I didn’t call them until 7 am.

I told the nurses and they all agreed, as my brother’s wife was so tired and needed her rest. They put my brother body in the morgue and I was surprised to see the number of the freezer lot was number 4.

I didn’t care much about the number I was in shock and saddened for him. He was my older brother and he took care of me when I was young. his name in Arabic is Samer 4 words.

Then I called his wife and my family overseas and they all cried and prayed for his soul, his wife was shocked and the kids were crying and screaming. My family overseas couldn’t believe it. How he can die in the USA, they said. The USA has the best doctors and health system in the world, They kept telling me.

God has his way and everybody has his time, I told them. No matter where you are in the USA or anywhere in the world when your time comes nobody can help you,I said.

After the routine crying and sadness of my family, his wife, and the kids, I was focusing on the problem at hand.

To make sure that I bury him and do everything by the book, from booking the funeral home, ordering the headstone to every single detail. When I went to the Gravesite there is a lot number 4,  and other lots. Then the number 4 started to come to my mind one by one, I asked the funeral manager to select number 4. I washed his body with the people that I hired to do the coffin helped me to wash him and put him in the casket.

We called many of his friends at work and another place,  and we all prayed for him and put him in his grave. Everybody left and the kids were crying softly as we told them that If they cry loud his soul will not be happy. His wife left with the kids along with everybody else, I stayed alone beside the grave. I told my brother’s wife to pick me up next day when the sunrise.

It was 4 pm when we took him from the funeral home and we buried him before the sun goes down on Thursday night. My brother’s wife told me that we can come in the morning. I told her that I promised my brother once that if He dies I will stay beside his grave until the sunrise next day,  and he should do that for me if possible, and I will keep my promise to him.

So I started resitting versus from the holy book and do rosary and prayers for his soul. I kept a large bottle of water we had in the car beside me,  and a flashlight with. The graveyard is about 5 minutes from  Las Vegas airport. It was very pleasant and well-maintained gardens and lights. I went to the washroom once only. I prayed for him until the sun rises. My brother’s wife came for me,  picked me up and drove me home. I was wet as it was raining in the end, and I was VERY tired.

I took some of my brother’s hair when I was cutting his hair, and cut his nails and kept them in a small plastic bag, and I also took some of his belonging. When I was sleeping I dreamt of Sam, he was so happy and told me not to worry at all, he said don’t feel pain and he could see me beside the grave reading the holy book for him. He asked me to return his hair to the ground and not to keep it.

When I called my father he told me I should be kept his hair and nails with the body, and then he asked me to send his belonging along with the hair and nails so they can be buried them back home. They wanted to make a memorial burial for him beside my mother grave and my little brother. They received all his belonging that I sent to them. I extended my leave for another one week. I took care of the kids and managed to get a counselor for them and supported them financially, and paid for all the funeral service and the burial charges. It was time to go back home to Saskatoon.

When I went to the airport to come back to home from Las Vegas to Minneapolis then Saskatoon, the gate number was number 4. Oh Darn, I said. I felt so uncomfortable and I went to the ticket agent and told him that I can not travel throw this Gate. He said why I told him that I felt bad about this Gate and if there is any way to change it I will rather take any other gates. He said that’s the only way to Saskatoon is throw this gate.I told him the story and he was surprised and asked me to pray and not to be superstitious. Because my other option to travel to another city than from there I can be directed to Saskatoon, and that cost more money and time. I was so tired. OK, then I go throw gate number 4. I told him. Good luck body and sorry about your brother, the agent told me.

I took the flight and it was the most horrific flight in my life, I had the worse turbulence and air pocket in history. Everybody was worried and screaming, the captain kept informing us to stay still and buckle up. I was so worried. I thought that’s it I shouldn’t listen to that agent, I was sad and felt so helpless. What will I do if I die? Who will care for me and pray for me? What will happen to my family and job, my place and belonging? I was so tired, I buckled my self with the seat so tight to my body, I thought if we crashed someone might find me with my seat.

I closed my eyes and put my hands together and continued to pray. I felt no fear at all, I was in peace and so relaxed. I completely surrendered to that moment. I fall asleep until the flight attendant woke me up to adjust my seat. Am I a life, I asked.

She smiled and said yes it is a beautiful day. When I was ready to leave the plan I noticed my seat number was 44.

I drove from the airport to my apartment in Saskatoon and I was still sleepy and tired. My apartment number 114 was on the 4th floor, I just didn’t care anymore I felt this is crazy, Maybe I was so sensitive and in shock that my brain was playing tricks on me. Maybe my brain was trying to distract me from the psychological trauma of losing my brother. I closed the curtains to block the sunlight and went to bed after a quick shower. I was dreaming of my brother smiling at me. and still dreaming of him at least once every 4 months.  Now I am renting a place on the 4th floor somewhere in Calgary. This number always reminds me of Sam.

The number 4 derives its meaning from creation. On the fourth day of what is called ‘creation week,’ God completed the material universe. On this day he brought into existence our sun, the moon, and all the stars (Genesis 1:14 – 19). Their purpose was not only to give off a light but also to divide the day from the night on earth, thus becoming a basic demarcation of time. They were also made to be a type of signal that would mark off the days, years and seasons.

Interestingly, the Hebrew word for ‘seasons’ in Genesis 1:14 is moved (Strong’s Concordance #H4150), which literally translated is “appointed times” (divine appointments) in reference to God’s festivals. This is the earliest known allusion to what would later be called the Holy (or Feast) days (periods) of worship, which are seven in number.

The 4th of the Ten Commandments is to remember and keep God’s holy Sabbath day (Exodus 20:9 – 11). The Sabbath day is tied directly to the creation week. God himself made the period between Friday sunset and Saturday sunset extra special when he rested on it after bringing everything into existence the previous six days (Genesis 2:1 – 3, Exodus 20:11).

Appearances of the number four

The letter D is the 4th letter of the alphabets, D stands for death, demon, devil, destruction, delusion, dementia,

The 4 winds and the direction of the north, south east and west. the 4 horsemen,.

One of the top ten most frequently mentioned women in the Bible, Eve is only referenced four times (Genesis 3:20, 4:1, 2 Corinthians 11:3 and 1 Timothy 2:13).

Psalm 107 is the only section or chapter in God’s word that contains the exact same phrase four times (Psalm 107:8, 15, 21 and 31).

The apostle Paul was a man familiar with 4 major first-century cultures. He was a Roman citizen, he was a Jew who spoke Greek as well as Hebrew, and he was a Christian.

The Garden of Eden had a river which parted into the headwaters of four other rivers. These rivers were the Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel and the Euphrates (Genesis 2:10 – 14).

The four witnesses of God on earth are miracles, wonders, signs and the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 2:4).

The number of times rainbows are referenced in scripture are four (Genesis 9, Ezekiel 1:28, Revelation 4:3, 10:1).

Ezekiel, prophecy and the number 4

In Ezekiel’s well-known ‘wheel in the middle of a wheel’ vision (Ezekiel 1, 10) he sees four living creatures transporting a throne with four sides and four wheels. Each of the living creatures (likely Cherubim, a class of angels) has four faces (the face of a man, lion, ox, and eagle) and four wings (1:6).

The number 4 derives its meaning from creation. On the fourth day God’ completed the material universe. On this day he brought into existence our Sun, moon, and all the stars (Genesis 1:14 – 19). Their purpose was not only to give off the light but also to divide the day from the night on earth, thus becoming a basic demarcation of time. They were also made to be a type of signal that would mark off the days, years and seasons.

There are 4 gospel accounts of Jesus’ life and ministry.

Thank you for reading and may God bless all those who departed from your life and all those who went to the other side.

Hi Mr. Ramsey,

Thank you so much for the reply and all the interesting information. It’s a shame that the third floor is closed to the public as that is what I’ve also read about being the most active. The purpose of my piece is, I wish to profile the Prince house and the paranormal claims that are associated with it. I reached out to you because I believe you would add great substance and accountability to the kind of article I am writing. I was wondering if there would be an opportunity for me to interview you. I was hoping to learn a bit more about what you do as a paranormal researcher and what it looks like…how you got into it etc. As you mentioned above you visited the Prince house as a guest in the past, I was hoping to maybe speak with you about that as well, even though you weren’t granted access to the third floor. I understand you’re a busy person but any help would be greatly appreciated. If you were to accept my request for an interview we could also do it over the phone for your convenience. Regardless, thank you so much for your time and information thus far. Looking forward to perhaps speaking more with you.

Sincerely,

Liam Gillies

I was a visitor once just to check the house as a visitor I felt more creepy at the opera house

extrasensory house most of the stories are extrasensory imagination  stories

when the second wife Emma died of TB no one ever sees or recorded any ghost problem it was not until

the house was donated to the park back in 1966 and later relocated by 1967 from that time someone started the roomers so

to stop kids, teenagers and young men going to the house and looting the house. and the people imaginations went wild ever since.

I wanted to go to the 3rd floor and spend a night alone with my cam, records, and grids but the 3rd floor is

closed to the public due to safety issue!!!! I wrote to them again and asked them that I want to stay overnight alone in the 3rd

floor and that I will share the info with them later, I will not use any candle or smudging or anything that cause fire hazards etc

I will sense any spirit if there is one my aim also will be the picture of Emma’s mother that is on the wall it is a hot object this picture gave me more chills than the house I want to use this picture with me at the 3rd floor and I want to do my chanting and prayers and try to feel or make any contact with the spirit . If there is one spirit the chance is there will be more with her like her servant who served her and other entities as guardians of the spirit until they pass on those bound spirit want to send a message and are attached to the house but this is yet to be proven. The reason one has to go alone because our body senses will triple as a defense mechanism our sight and hearing will play a trick on us and us as human always afraid of the dark as part of our childhood. the moon and passing cloud can give you a feeling that you seen a light coming from the window on the 3rd floor.

Steve Ramsey- Okotoks -Alberta

My house number is 115 this time there is no number 4.

PETER ANTHONY PRINCE (1836-1925) In Calgary, Alberta’s Heritage Park there is a house known as the Prince House. The house was built in 1894 based on plans Peter found in the November 1893 edition of Scientific American, Architects and Builder’s Edition. It originally stood at 4th Avenue and 2nd Street in the Eau Claire district before being moved in 1967. Waymarking.com says the following about Peter: “Peter Anthony Prince was born near Trois-Rivieres, Quebec on May 4, 1836. Prince lived in Ontario where he learned the millwright trade and lumber business. In 1866 he migrated to northern Wisconsin where he joined the Northwestern Lumber Company and became an American citizen. Prince moved to Calgary in 1886 and became the Manager of the Eau Claire and Bow River Lumber Company, a position he held until 1916. Prince quickly became involved in other business ventures and with I.K.Kerr, president of the lumber operation built a flour mill and elevator which later became the Robin Hood Mill. Prince also operated Prince – Kerr ranch at Brooks, became president of the Calgary Iron Works, the Louis Petrie Company, the Calgary Milling Company and held an interest in the John Irwin Company grocery business. In 1889 Prince signed a contract to supply Calgary with electricity and formed the Calgary Water Power Company which he ran until his death in January 1925 at age 89. His wife Emily survived him by nineteen years and his stepdaughter Nora remained living in the 4th Avenue house until her death in 1965. Calgary’s Prince’s Island is named for the “lumber baron”, Peter Prince.” Peter Prince married four times, and the first three wives predeceased him in Prince House. His first wife, Margaret Corrigan, died on Feb. 4, 1898, at 58 years of age, from a long illness. His second wife, Emma Wallin, died on Oct. 17, 1900, from tuberculosis, at 46 years of age. His third wife, Rosa Douglas, died on Oct. 21, 1907, from cancer. He married his fourth wife, Emily (Douglas) Whitlock, in 1909. Peter Prince died on Jan. 12, 1925, at the 89 years of age. Emily died in 1944. Emily’s daughter, Nora Whitlock (Peter’s stepdaughter), died in the house in 1965. Peter was the founder of the Alberta Natural Gas and Electric Company. The company donated the house to Heritage Park in 1966. The house was moved to its present location in 1967. There are some interesting legends about Prince House: Peter’s second wife, Emma Wallin, was confined to the third floor of the house, due to her illness. The third floor is said to be haunted by her. ( The third floor is closed off for safety reasons, as the stairs leading to it are narrow, steep, and dark. The third floor was also the living quarters for the servants employed by the Princes.) The nursery on the second floor is where many people have seen a lady dressed in period costume, a long white dress with high lace collar. She has been seen wrapping a baby in a blanket and sitting in a chair in the corner, rocking the baby. This story was taken from a book titled: Ghost Stories of Heritage Park. The book also states that no one goes into the rooms upstairs except for the curator and the cleaning staff. The rooms are locked because they are filled with artifacts. The Lady in white carrying the baby has also been seen next door in the Sandstone house. The Gauntlet adds: “There have been many questionable occurrences on the third floor of the house that is closed off to the public. One evening, a security guard noticed that all the lights on the third floor were on, although there was no electricity up there. The lights were extremely bright, while the first and second stories remained dark. He decided to investigate it in the morning but, the next day everything had returned back to normal without anybody entering the home. Another evening a security guard was performing his nightly check and noticed the balcony window on the third level was swinging open and closed. He decided to go into the house with his guard dog. Upon coming back down the stairs, the dog froze in his tracks, his hair stood straight up, his ears went down and his tail went between his legs. He strained to run out of the house as if something or someone had spooked him. When he got outside, he returned to normal as if nothing had happened. Other staff members have heard extremely loud stomping on the second level, and have noticed various misplaced objects. Individuals have also reported seeing a woman dressed in a flowing white dress, playing with a baby in the nursery of the house, only to look again and see no one.” —– Peter Anthony Prince’s third and fourth wives were both Douglas’s. The fourth wife was Emily (Douglas) Whitlock (1860-1944). Emily was first married to Frank Henry Whitlock b.-Jan.9 1851, Winterslow, Wiltshire. In 1881 the family is living at Middle Winter, Winterslow and Emily’s sister Gertrude Douglas, age 17 is living with the family. In 1891 a daughter Winifred Nora Whitlock was born and it appears Frank Whitlock died shortly afterward and the family immigrated to Canada, settling in Calgary. It is not yet clear about the connection between Peter’s third wife Rosa Douglas and his forth, Emily (Douglas) Whitlock but the connection is likely the reason Emily and Nora settled in Calgary. Frank Henry Whitlock was the son of Anthony & Betsey (Lynwood) Whitlock and is part of the WHITLOCK03 chart, The Whitlocks of Pitton, Wiltshire #1. He descends from Richard Whitlock who married Mary Wassall Jul.27, 1683 in Figheldean, Wiltshire.

Peter Anthony Prince, has long been regarded as the Lumber Baron, of Calgary Alberta, leaving a legacy that Calgary residents and visitors still enjoy today. Born 4 May 1836, near Three Rivers, Quebec, Peter was a son of John Enoch and Angeline Prince. In the 1840’s the Prince family settled in Mara Township, Ontario, on lot 14, Concession C. Here is where Peter was raised and educated, and where he learned the Millwright trade from his father.

In 1857, he married Margaret Corrigan, a daughter of Michael and Rosanna Corrigan of the 7th concession of Mara. They lived on lot 14, Concession A, and had two children a son John Enoch, and daughter Rosanna. From 1859 to 1865, he owned and operated both a lumber and a hotel business, on Concession A in Mara Township, Ontario.

In 1866 Peter Prince and his family, along with the extended family including his parents and siblings, Elizabeth, Andrew, George, and Anne, all moved to the Eau Claire area of Wisconsin. There Peter continued to work as a millwright, by 1875 we were General Manager of the North West Lumber Company, with 500 employees. In 1886 he went to Calgary, to build the Eau Claire Lumber Company and serve as General Manager, a position he held until 1916. During this time, Calgary became the lumber capital of Western Canada, and Peter Prince was known as a lumber baron.

In 1886, Peter Prince, deepened a channel in the Bow River, in order to float logs directly to the sawmill he was building, creating an island in the Bow River. This 20-hectare island was donated to the City of Calgary, by the Prince family in 1947, and today is one of the premier urban parks in Canada, known as Prince’s Island Park. It is accessible from the downtown and the Eau Claire districts of Calgary and is enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.

Peter’s interest did not stop at his sawmill, he owned the first gas operated car in Calgary, he built a flour-mill and elevator, which later became Robin Hood Mill, he was president of the Calgary Iron Works Company ( which built the first traffic bridge in Calgary), the Calgary Milling Company and the Louis Petrie Company, a wholesale grocery firm, plus he held interest in the John Irwin grocery business. In Brooks Alberta, he owned a large ranching operation called the Prince-Kerr Ranch.

One dark night in 1886, Peter Anthony Prince slipped off a board side-walk and landed on a muddy street in Calgary. Right there he decided that Calgary’s streets should be lit by electric lights. That was the moment of conception for the Calgary Water Power Company. By 1889, he won the rights to erect poles and string wire, making Calgary the fifth city in Canada to have street lights. Initially, he burned sawdust from his lumber yard to fuel a steam-driven generator, by 1893 he was generating electricity via water-power, harnessing the current of the Bow River. The steam plant was kept in use during periods of low river flow. By contrast, Peter’s Company was the only provider of electricity to Calgary, until his death in 1925.

Peter Prince designed his home from plans of a Connecticut house published in the November 1893 issue of Scientific American, Architects and Builders Edition. This 3000 square foot mason, was built at 238 4th Avenue. It was the home of his four wives, three of whom predeceased him, Margaret died in 1898, from diabetes, Emma of TB, in 1902, Rosa died in 1907 of Cancer, his fourth wife Emily outlived him and died in 1944. Emily’s daughter from a previous marriage remained in the house until 1965. In 1966 the Prince House was donated to Heritage Park, the move required the removal of 25,000 bricks, and the house was divided into three sections. It was reassembled, as part of a Centennial project. Today, it is a major tourist attraction, open to the public, the interior has been restored and refurbished, to depict the end of the Edwardian Era. Still today, items which originally belonged to the Prince family are on display in the dining room. Some believe this house is haunted, images of a lady in a long white dress with a high lace collar have been reported, and many Heritage Park employees refuse to enter the house alone.

P.A. Prince, Oldtimer In Calgary, Passes Away
————–
Was 89 Years of Age and Had Lived Here for 39
———–
FOUNDED EAU CLAIRE LUMBER COMPANY, LTD.
——–
He Was Also Interested in Other Local Industries; Built First Light Plant
——-
Peter Anthony Prince, one of the few remaining old-timers of Calgary and Alberta, passed away on Monday, at the ripe age of 89 years. Nearly all of his life was passed in active business in Calgary, although, for the past seven years he lived practically in retirement, his health had begun to fail. The remains of the deceased are to be laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery on Wednesday, following a service at St. Mary’s Cathedral.

Peter A. Prince was born at Three Rivers, Quebec, on May 4, 1836, the son of John and Angeline Prince and was educated in the public schools of … Ontario. For six years he was a millwright, in his father’s business at Ontario county. Following that he was engaged in the … and hotel business on his own… Mara Township, Ontario.
Moved to the West
———-
Previous to 1866, Mr. Prince … to Chicago, and was engaged in many different jobs. This completed, he went to Wisconsin, where there were great developments taking place in the lumber business. He is a millwright, soon found work at his occupation there, and erected several mills for different companies. He was engaged by the North Western Lumber Company as a millwright and later as manager; and had charge of a number of mills, employing about 500 …

When a number of Eau Claire lumbermen became interested in timber rights in Alberta, he was engaged by … to come out and erect a mill. Mr. Prince came here in 1896, and built the present mill where it stands today, and conducted the lumbering operations up to the time of his retirement, in 1917. Since then Mr. Prince has been looking after his own private interests.

On the occasion of Mr. Prince’s retirement from active service, the shareholders of the Eau Claire Lumber Co. gave a banquet in his honor and presented him with a grandfather’s clock.

Built First Light Plant
—————-
When the electric light question came up in the early days in Calgary, and citizens were demanding a better service of light, Mr. Prince made a contract with the town to build a plant and install street lighting. He undertook to do this work privately and accordingly made a contract with the city for a period of five years. Shortly after this was made it was found desirable to form a company, to take over Mr. Prince’s interests, so the Calgary Water Power Co. was organized. Mr. Prince was vice-president of this company up to the time of his death.

In 1909, he married Emily Douglas, of Southampton, England, who survives him. There were two children from a former marriage, J.E. Prince of H..vwood, California, and Mrs. Rose Eide, of Calgary, and Norah Whitlock, also a step-daughter who was with him at the end. He has four grandchildren, Margaret Eide, John and Chester and Mrs. Longpre, as well as a number of great-grandchildren.

Through a long life actively engaged in his business pursuits, Mr. Prince was never engaged in public life, though taking a keen interest in politics, municipal, provincial and federal. He was a great reader and kept well posted on the affairs of Canada and the world. His tastes were simple, and his only recreations were shooting and walking.

Had Other Interests
———
In addition to his interests in the Eau Claire Lumber Co., Mr. Prince was interested in the Calgary Iron Works, was president of the Louis Petrie Co., and also had an interest in the John Irwin Co. Ltd.

The passing of Peter Anthony Prince is regretted by a wide circle of friends and business associates, but who realize that he leaves behind a record of faithfulness to his trusts in life, and has contributed materially toward the upbuilding of his adopted country.
